About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Precision Machinist 2ND Shift, where you will set up and operate various machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. Your role will include fabricating, modifying, or repairing mechanical instruments, as well as maintaining and repairing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating Machine Tools: Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Help maintain and repair equipment by carrying out preparations and providing assistance.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment: Follow basic mandatory work instructions to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of yourself and others.
  • Operational Compliance: Ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.
  • Precision Equipment Utilization: Interpret and use precision measuring equipment/instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma / GED and 3-5 years relevant experience.
  • Equipment Experience: 2+ years machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment operating manual lathes, milling machines, or CNC lathes/mills.
  • Verbal Communication: Clear and effective verbal communication skills to express ideas and request actions.
  • Planning and Organizing: Plan, organize, and prioritize activities to efficiently meet business objectives.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $70,000 - $80,000, depending on experience. We offer competitive pay, annual bonuses, medical benefits on day one, generous paid vacation time, paid holidays, 401(k), and many other excellent benefits.
