Job Summary

Havtech LLC is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our warehouse team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering orders and supplies to customers in a safe and timely manner.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a minimum of one year of delivery/box truck experience. You will also be required to maintain a current D.O.T medical examiners certificate in accordance with the FMCSA Handbook.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, transport, and deliver parts to customer locations or job sites in a safe, timely manner.
  • Load and unload items per customer or site specifications.
  • Review deliveries with customers to ensure items meet their needs; provide excellent customer service.
  • Abide by all applicable local and state transportation safety laws and regulations.
  • Abide by any and all applicable Federal D.O.T-FMCSA regulations and safety standards.
  • Conduct periodic inspection/review of vehicle before departing to deliver goods to maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
  • Prepare and complete appropriate vehicle inspection forms and complete daily paperwork relating to deliveries.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with office staff in regard to delivery progress.
  • Operate forklift and pallet jack safely and responsibly.
  • Pull parts & equipment orders. Box parts orders for shipping. Secure and protect equipment orders to a pallet for shipping.
  • Assist customers with inquiries, including but not limited to: the pickup and returning of equipment and parts, shipping needs or concerns.
  • Keep and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Assist with warehouse office functions as needed.
  • Filing of M/S's, freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips, etc. for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes.
  • Responsible for filing of freight claims for damaged goods.
  • Manages receipt, inspecting, and stocking products.
  • Responsible for determining inventory levels, identifying and disposing of excess and obsolete inventory, and maintaining system inventory accuracy.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • A minimum of one year of delivery/box truck experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must already possess and be able to maintain a current D.O.T medical examiners certificate in accordance with the FMCSA Handbook.
  • Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
  • Must be detail oriented and have a track record of success in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literacy is a must. Experience with Shipping/tracking software such as UPS WorldShip is preferred.
  • Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Forklift experience is preferred.
  • CDL not required, but preferred.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work in a team environment. The noise level in the work environment is loud at times.
