About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Community Choice Financial Family of Brands. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of customer service representatives, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide an exceptional customer experience throughout the full cycle of the loan or pawn process by educating consumers and making recommendations based on their financial needs.
  • Team Leadership: Assist in customer account management, accept payments, monitor, and manage customer appointments. Provide support, coaching, and development to customer service representatives to improve team performance.
  • Sales and Marketing: Work to meet company-set performance standards by leveraging business-to-business partnership opportunities, obtaining referrals, and participating in and hosting in-store and community events.
  • Store Operations: Maintain customer information in the Point of Sale system with accuracy and integrity. Ensure a work environment that upholds compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Security and Safety: Maintain office security protocols and conduct proper opening and closing procedures, including management of vault, cash drawer, and bank deposits. Monitor and maintain internal and external store appearance and cleanliness.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience. Minimum one year experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, the ability to move and transport up to 25 pounds, the ability to move about inside and outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Education: Associate degree or higher.
  • Language: Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations.
