About the RoleThis is a General Surgery Physician position at our CommonSpirit General Surgery Siena office in Garden City, Kansas. As a physician-facing organization, our Physician Group is passionate about delivering high-value, top-quality care to our patients. Our resources include supply chain expertise, technology implementation trainers, contracting experts, centralized credentialing, financial reporting/modeling, and communication to support our providers in delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide services at or above customary practice standards in the community, adhering to the standards and principles of medical ethics of the American Medical Association and recognized associations or accrediting boards concerned with your area of medical specialty.
- Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration.
- Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to the hospital.
- Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at the sponsoring institution.
- Meet the physical requirements of the position, including exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly.
