Research FocusOur research group is interested in developing and applying data-driven disease progression models that integrate neuroimaging (PET and MRI), biofluids (e.g. cerebrospinal fluid), cognitive tests, and other complementary measures such as postmortem immunohistochemistry. You will have the opportunity to analyze neuroimaging data from the LASI-DAD project, a unique, in-depth study of aging and dementia in India, aiming to understand how various dementia risk factors measured by LASI-DAD are associated with brain structure, brain function, and dementia progression.
Responsibilities- Analyze neuroimaging data from the LASI-DAD project
- Develop and apply computational models to understand the spread of Alzheimer's pathologies
- Collaborate with the research team to design and implement research studies
- Present research findings at national and international conferences
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled postdoctoral researcher with a Ph.D. in neuroimaging/neuroscience, computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or related areas. Strong research skills, ability to work independently, effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and expertise in Python, Matlab, or R are required.
This is an excellent opportunity for a postdoctoral researcher to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge research projects and to contribute to the development of new treatments for neurodegenerative diseases.
