Role Overview

As the Senior Analyst of FP&A, you will play a crucial role in the financial success of Trial Library. Collaborating closely with senior management and operational teams, you will ensure robust financial processes and tools are established to optimize revenue while maintaining a vigilant focus on operating expenses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the financial budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
  • Oversee and manage the company’s revenue cycle, including invoicing and payment processes.
  • Prepare financial performance reports and P&L updates for senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Analyze and monitor key financial performance metrics such as profitability, margins, cash flow, and operating expenses.
  • Conduct financial scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making by senior management.
  • Perform variance analysis to identify the underlying causes of business performance variances.
  • Assist in the preparation of proforma analyses and business cases aimed at driving revenue and EBITDA growth.
Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related business field is required. An MBA is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience: A minimum of 7 years of financial and analytical experience is essential, ideally within the pharmaceutical clinical trials, biotech, healthcare research, or healthtech sectors.

Skills:

  • Intellectual curiosity to address business challenges and comprehend the root causes of performance issues.
  • Proficiency in A/R, invoicing, and revenue cycle management processes.
  • Strong leadership and organizational capabilities, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, alongside strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Hands-on experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and evaluating financial outcomes is essential.
  • Familiarity with systems such as MS Excel, Google Sheets, NetSuite, and Monday.com is preferred.
