Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Survey Crew Chief to join our team at Petroleum Field Services LLC. As a key member of our survey team, you will be responsible for managing field data collections, equipment, and potentially junior staff members. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate survey fieldwork, ensuring timely and accurate data collection.
  • Supervise and train junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Ensure all survey equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in surveying or related field preferred.
  • At least 3 years of progressive surveying field experience, with a strong background in geospatial data management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in survey software and equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Working Conditions
  • May require extended periods of travel, including overnight stays.
  • May require working in extreme temperatures, wet conditions, and hazardous environments.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and move equipment as needed.
