Overview:

International Business & Technical Consultants (IBTCI) is looking for a seasoned consultant to assist in the financial closeout process of the USAID Global Health Technical Assistance Mission Support (GH-TAMS) initiative. This project, in collaboration with Dexis Consulting Group, is a significant five-year contract valued at $125 million, aimed at providing essential technical services to USAID operating units engaged in health-related endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Finance and Contracts team to oversee financial management and the closeout of GH-TAMS assignments, ensuring accurate expenditure tracking and financial reporting.
  • Prepare timely and precise financial reports, both required and ad hoc, for IBTCI and USAID.
  • Work alongside the Project Director to develop cost estimates for consultant assignments, ensuring the accuracy of daily rates, budgeted costs, and funding availability with the Finance team.
  • Guarantee compliance with USAID and IBTCI policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in international development, global operations, and financial management of large-scale USAID projects.
  • Proven experience in supporting USAID budget development and analysis, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • In-depth knowledge of US Government rules, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.

Education: A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Deltek, Concur, and Microsoft 365 Office products is advantageous.

Physical Requirements: This role primarily involves sedentary work, requiring the ability to communicate effectively and lift small objects weighing up to 20 lbs.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not entail supervisory duties.

Travel: No travel is required for this position.

Work Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the USA. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
