Role Summary - Program Coordinator: The Program Coordinator at COA is essential in facilitating the daily operations of our educational environment. This role encompasses managing classroom activities, implementing suitable programs for children, and ensuring compliance with all relevant company policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards. You will be responsible for maintaining documentation, generating various reports, and upholding regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily functioning of the school, focusing on classroom management and oversight.
  • Design and execute age-appropriate programs for children as required.
  • Keep precise records and produce reports regularly.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, state laws, and accreditation requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate activities and events, including field trips and parent meetings.
  • Manage the use of educational supplies and materials to create an effective learning atmosphere.
  • Act as the third-level management in the absence of the School Director or Assistant Director.
  • By joining our team as a Program Coordinator, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and enriching environment for children, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional educational experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree.
  • Compliance with state regulations for Director Designee, Group Leader, or Lead Teacher.
  • Fulfillment of state in-service training requirements.
  • Experience in childcare, with management experience preferred.
  • Possession of or progress towards a Child Development Associate credential (CDA) or a degree in Early Childhood Development or a related field.
