Job Overview

We are seeking a Quality Improvement Specialist to contribute to our team in Wilmington, Delaware. The successful candidate will review program documents to ensure they meet quality standards and verify the completeness of submitted documents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the Quality Improvement Manager to develop, communicate, and monitor policies and procedures related to Behavioral Health Services.
  • Validating information with administrative staff to support outcomes management.
  • Reviewing and tracking quantitative reports.
  • Developing and delivering staff training on consumer health information privacy and access, in compliance with federal and state laws and Horizon House's information privacy practices.

Reporting Structure:

  • General supervision from the Quality Improvement Manager, Behavior Health Services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with one year of experience.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office, Excel, and forms applications.
  • Knowledge of statistics, data collection, analysis, and data presentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with accreditation and state licensure review processes.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work independently, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical skills.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Work Environment:

  • Requires sitting for extended periods.
  • Frequent talking and listening.
  • Light lifting and/or carrying, not exceeding 25lbs.
  • Requires a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
