Position Summary:
We are in search of a meticulous and dedicated individual to enhance our reputation and success within the industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing their own work schedule to meet project timelines, maintaining comprehensive records, and demonstrating self-motivation and attention to detail. A professional demeanor and a strong sense of ownership over projects are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of inspectors, offering guidance, training, and support to optimize performance.
- Delegate tasks, establish priorities, and track progress to achieve inspection timelines and quality objectives.
- Maintain thorough documentation of inspection outcomes, including any deviations, corrective measures, and quality indicators.
- Ensure prompt handling of rejected materials, including vendor returns.
- Compile weekly reports detailing inspection results, trends, and opportunities for enhancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and engineering, to ensure adherence to quality standards and objectives.
- Keep calibration records for all inspection instruments and equipment, ensuring they are in prime working condition.
- Promote a safe and healthy workplace by implementing and enforcing organizational standards and complying with legal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- ASQ Quality Engineer Certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with electronic and/or optical technologies, measurement systems, and inspection tools.
- At least 3 years of management experience leading small teams.
- 5 years of experience in interpreting mechanical drawings and tolerances.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Personal attributes: High attention to detail, organized, capable of multitasking, personable, motivated, and proactive.
