Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to:

  • Work full-time, with a commitment of 36 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months to 1 year.
  • Be available for ground and air transport duties, covering all shifts including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Preferably cover day shifts on Fridays from 7 AM to 5 PM, followed by 12- or 24-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, ensuring a minimum of 40 hours weekly.
  • Adhere to the following shift patterns: Day shift from Monday to Friday 7 AM to 5 PM and weekends from 7 AM to 7 PM; Night shifts from Monday to Friday 4 PM to 8 AM and weekends from 7 PM to 7 AM. 24-hour shifts can be scheduled any day of the week.
  • Perform advanced procedures including PICC/UVC/UAC line placements, chest tube insertions, lumbar punctures, intubations, and participate in group and air transport.
  • Work within a Level 1 trauma facility with a Level 4 NICU.
  • Manage a patient load of approximately 10 per shift.
  • Utilize the Cerner EMR system for documentation.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • An active and unrestricted Pennsylvania License.
  • Current certifications in BLS, PALS, and NRP.
  • Board Certification in their specialty.
  • Experience in both ground and air transport.
  • At least two supervisory references to validate experience.
