Role Summary

The Radiologic Technologist is tasked with executing radiologic procedures. This role involves a variety of technical tasks that necessitate independent judgment, initiative, and creativity to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. Interaction with external parties includes patients, their families, and physicians, while internal collaboration involves nursing staff and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct general radiography imaging studies under the guidance of the Chief Technologist and Director of Imaging Services.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures while providing patient care and addressing the personal needs and comfort of patients and their families.
  • Identify and communicate patient needs to foster a safe and comfortable care environment.
Qualifications
  • Graduation or eligibility for graduation with an AA degree from an accredited Imaging program or equivalent.
  • Certification with the State of Washington Department of Health.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required; if pending, must be completed within 6 months of hire.
  • MA-P certification is necessary for Maple Valley Rad Techs performing Phlebotomy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, along with paid time off. The compensation range for this position is $47.65 USD, influenced by various factors such as skill set, experience level, and certifications. For positions under a union contract, pay will align with the appropriate step on the pay scale based on the applicant's experience.
