Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our team at Computer Task Group, Inc. as a Senior CSA Designer. This is a 6-month contract position with a strong possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in CSA projects and collaborate with designers' teams to influence the direction of complex brownfield projects.
  • Communicate effectively with CSA department peers, engineering disciplines personnel, and project managers.
  • Contribute to projects with budgets up to $25 million.
Requirements
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing facilities.
  • Knowledge of structural design practices and materials (steel, concrete).
  • Understanding of civil design practices and materials (subsurface pipes, paving, drainage).
  • Industry design codes (ASCE, AISC, ACI, PIP, AASHTO) or building code requirements (IBC).
  • Valid TWIC Card or ability to obtain within 3 weeks.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Construction administration experience is desirable.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Smart Plant 3D, and SPR.
  • Ability to perform field work, basic surveying, and inspection work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
Education
  • High school diploma, associate degree, or technical training.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
