- Must be a graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years of experience.
- Minimum of 6 months nursing experience required.
The Outpatient Oncology RN provides direct patient care in a medical office environment, utilizing the nursing process in alignment with established standards of practice and the organization's policies, values, and mission.
Key Duties:
- Develops, implements, and assesses patient care plans based on thorough patient evaluations to enhance outcomes and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborates across various disciplines to ensure coordinated patient care, including transfer, discharge, referrals, and addressing spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Delegates patient care tasks to ancillary staff effectively. This role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently.
