Fire Alarm Systems Technician

Pye Barker Fire and Safety LLC is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of fire alarm systems in commercial buildings. Your expertise will ensure that our clients' properties are safe and compliant with fire codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install or upgrade fire alarms in commercial buildings, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Test and repair alarm systems, identifying and addressing any code or system deficiencies.
- Perform regular inspections to ensure alarms are installed according to code, documenting any issues in detailed reports.
- Report results of work completed in an accurate and timely manner, maintaining open communication with clients and management.
- Protect and maintain company equipment, including vehicles and related tools.
- Inspect and maintain the truck and all related equipment, submitting repair requests as necessary to ensure safe operation.
- Work in a safe manner, adhering to company safety procedures, including driver safety and personal protective equipment.
- Respond to emergency service calls, providing prompt and effective assistance.
- Perform other duties assigned by management, contributing to the success of our team.
- NICET certification preferred, with prior experience or training.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards, including 70 and 72, a plus.
- Experience with commercial systems and troubleshooting skills.
