Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery
  • Conduct blood gas analysis and interpretation, ensuring accurate data-driven decisions
  • Maintain and manage equipment, guaranteeing optimal functionality and efficiency
  • Provide educational support to patients and families, fostering a culture of health awareness
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
  • Previous working experience in neonatal respiratory care or successful completion of department-specific orientation, including skills validation of competencies
  • Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners
  • Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and NRP, with active practice and maintenance of required competencies in adult and neonatal areas
  • PREFERRED: Neonatal Pediatric Specialist credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care
