Cardiac Sonographer Job Description

UNC Health is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations of patients using vascular ultrasound equipment.
  • Conduct physiological assessments and measurements, including vital signs.
  • Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately identify and assess vascular structures.
  • Document findings and communicate results to the healthcare team.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field within 3 months of hire.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or registry eligible and become registered within one (1) year from date of hire.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Benefits:
  • $43.10 per hour (hiring range).
  • Full-time position with 40 hours per week.
  • Day shift schedule.
