HIM Coder Position

Rome Health is seeking a skilled HIM Coder to join their experienced and dedicated coding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coding discharged patient encounters, including inpatient, observation, skilled nursing, and ER cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coding discharged patient encounters
- Working with a team of experienced coders
- Ensuring accurate and timely coding
Requirements:
- Associates or bachelor's degree preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required
