About the Role

This position requires a skilled Aircraft Mechanic I to troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces, and controls. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Unit or Intermediate Level Repairs and/or modifications, as well as proficiency in reading and interpreting Schematics, Engineering Drawings, Technical Manuals, and Technical Orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces, and controls
  • Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures and functional components using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment
  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Unit or Intermediate Level Repairs and/or modifications
  • Minimum of 3 years experience on helicopter gas turbine engines
  • Must be proficient in reading and interpreting Schematics, Engineering Drawings, Technical Manuals, and Technical Orders
  • Must be flexible to work Extended/Multiple Shifts and Travel as required to meet Customer mission needs
  • Candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Skills
  • T55-GA-714 and/or YT706-GE-700 engine model experience preferred
  • Documented Military/DOD Service School or Civilian/FAA equivalent training desired
  • Current & Active Secret Level Security Clearance
  • Depot Level Maintenance Repair experience desired
  • Must provide own basic hand tools and toolbox
