Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Lead Associate to join our team at Dollar General. As a Sales Lead Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with sales floor operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Assist with sales floor operations by unloading trucks, processing merchandise, and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Support store management by performing tasks such as opening and closing the store, counting register drawers, and making bank deposits.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months of supervisory experience or related experience/training preferred.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures and ability to operate a cash register.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
