About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team at Therapy Solutions in Ridgefield, WA. This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week, offering a competitive hourly rate and travel stipend.

Job Summary

This role involves providing comprehensive behavioral support to students within the school system. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in conducting behavior assessments, developing intervention plans, and collaborating with school staff to create positive learning environments.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and developing tailored behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to address students' behavioral needs. They will provide direct behavior support, implement interventions, and guide students in developing positive behaviors.

The specialist will collaborate on tracking and analyzing student progress, maintaining detailed records in compliance with school regulations. They will work with school staff to integrate behavioral strategies, offering practical approaches for classroom management.

The position also involves supporting crisis intervention efforts, teaching de-escalation techniques, and assisting students during behavioral incidents. Additionally, the specialist will contribute to the development and implementation of students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), attending meetings and providing behavioral insights.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • State licensure or certification, if required by state regulations for school-based BCBAs.

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $72,000-$90,000 based on a 35-hour workweek and an hourly rate of $42-$54. This includes a generous benefits package, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
