Process Improvement Director

As a Process Improvement Director at Kaiser Permanente, you will lead the delivery, execution, and sustainment of process improvement engagements, including kaizen. You will ensure consultation is provided to stakeholders and process owners by building and nurturing trusted partnerships between stakeholders and teams to drive process improvements. You will direct the development of strategic plans that ensure alignment of organizational objectives, business priorities, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Direct the delivery, execution, and sustainment of process improvement engagements, including kaizen, by guiding the use of advanced methods and tools to ensure the development of stakeholder capabilities for process change and improvement.
- Oversee the deployment of data-driven process improvement principles, tools, and problem-solving methods, including Lean/Six Sigma concepts and techniques.
- Guide high-performance team capabilities to harness collective intelligence and take quick action to test ideas and achieve real-time business results.
- Direct the design and development of process architecture and recommendation documents.
- Take accountability for realizing results and presenting them to senior and/or executive management as appropriate.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Health Care/Public Health Administration, Behavioral/Social/Computer Science, Liberal Arts, Mathematics, or related field.
- Minimum ten (10) years of progressive corporate, non-profit, project management, or consulting experience, including minimum five (5) years in process improvement or directly related field.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Business Acumen; Negotiation; Business Process Improvement; Written Communication; Applied Data Analysis; Managing Diverse Relationships; Project Management; Service Focus.
