About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Related Management Company. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep our properties in excellent condition
  • Respond to service requests in a timely and efficient manner, interacting with residents and ensuring their needs are met
  • Coordinate completion of resident and management service requests, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
  • Prepare vacant units for occupancy, adhering to established timeframes and quality standards
  • Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues promptly
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance activities, working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to prepare sites for inspections, maintaining workplace safety policies and standards
  • Rotate on-call responsibility for emergency maintenance repairs, ensuring prompt response to resident needs
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of maintenance/facilities experience
  • Ability to work our emergency on-call rotation as needed, with the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift
