Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in Huron, South Dakota.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week contract position with a 36-hour workweek, requiring a strong knowledge of Labor and Delivery procedures and patient safety. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and listening skills, be a team player, and maintain a positive attitude towards work and others.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and implement nursing care for patients in Labor and Delivery
  • Develop and evaluate nursing plans of care
  • Manage emotional and physical patients
  • Provide effective communication and education to patients and families
  • Work collaboratively with medical staff
  • Provide quality care in a compassionate and professional manner
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Exhibits major team player qualities
  • Willingness to assist others when needed
  • Maintain a positive attitude towards work and others
