We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel Dialysis Nurse. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced dialysis environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and document patient responses and progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote self-care and independence.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- 1 year of experience in dialysis nursing, with a focus on hemodialysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to lift, move, and position patients, as well as assist with ambulation and transfers.
