Endoscopy Registered Nurse Full Time Job Description

At Carondelet St. Marys Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our team. As an Endoscopy Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Job Summary

The Endoscopy Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. This includes implementing and monitoring patient care plans, monitoring and recording patient condition, and communicating with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Implements and monitors patient care plans in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Monitors and records patient condition, including vital signs and other relevant data.
  • Communicates with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Assesses and coordinates patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  • Provides education to patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, as required by individual department.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferred.
