Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide vital speech and language services to students across the elementary and middle school spectrum in the Bellaire, TX area.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students' communication needs specific to their developmental stage.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's speech and language goals, considering their unique developmental stage and educational setting.
- Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches to address a range of communication disorders commonly seen in students across the elementary and middle school spectrum.
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting students' communication development in all settings.
- Monitor student progress, analyze data, and report on the effectiveness of interventions to inform ongoing therapy plans.
- Create positive and supportive learning environments that foster communication skills, confidence, and social interaction in students across the elementary and middle school spectrum.
- Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
- Prior experience working with students with speech and language impairments in a school setting, preferably across an elementary and middle school caseload, is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in speech and language assessment, intervention, and program development tailored for students at various developmental stages.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students of all ages, parents, and school staff.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Understanding of child and adolescent development as it relates to communication skills across the elementary and middle school spectrum.
