Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Downey, California. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in the physical therapy management of patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and develop personalized treatment plans to address their physical therapy needs.
- Conduct clinical testing and analysis to determine muscle strength, reflexes, sensation, coordination, range of motion, and other sensory motor skills.
- Administer and prescribe modalities and other physical agents as needed.
- Develop and implement exercise programs to promote patient recovery and independence.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective discharge planning.
- Completion of an accredited PT training program with a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current Physical Therapist License in California (or eligibility for licensure).
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
- Member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Spanish language proficiency.
