Job Description
As a full-time patent specialist at Fawkes IDM, you will be responsible for the preparation of intellectual property documents. This includes e-filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and other international offices. Your duties will also involve preparing legal correspondence, proofreading to ensure accuracy, and answering telephone calls.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare IP documents, including patent applications and trademark filings
• E-file documents with the USPTO and other offices
• Prepare legal correspondence, including letters and memos
• Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and attention to detail
• Answer telephone calls, transfer calls to relevant staff members, and take messages in their absence

Requirements
We are seeking an experienced legal secretary with a background in patent law. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a similar role and possess comprehensive knowledge of US and foreign patent and trademark prosecution procedures. Additionally, the successful candidate will have strong proofreading skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
