Job Summary

This is a 1.0 FTE non-continuing position for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). The successful candidate will be responsible for helping reduce or eliminate speech and language delays that interfere with the individual student's ability to derive full benefit from the district's educational program.

Responsibilities
  • Help reduce or eliminate speech and language delays that interfere with the individual student's ability to derive full benefit from the district's educational program.
  • Work under the direction of the Executive Director of Special Program Services.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students with a range of abilities and needs.
Requirements
  • Valid State of Washington teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement.
  • ESA SLP/Audiologist endorsement.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Ability to work effectively with people with dynamic backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
