Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Certified Surgical Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vascular and thoracic surgery, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the OR. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly with colleagues and patients, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
  • Monitor and maintain aseptic conditions in the OR
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in the OR
  • Strong background in vascular and thoracic surgery
  • Current certification as a Certified Surgical Tech (CST)
  • Active WA state license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification
  • Instrumental Assistance in Healthcare and Clinical and Surgical Materials Management (IAHCSMM) certification
