About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controller to join our team at Cascades in Pryor, Oklahoma. As a Senior Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial data, as well as analyzing and improving our operating cost performance indicators.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the integrity of our financial data, including inventory quantities, capital assets, and operating costs.
  • Analyze and improve our operating cost performance indicators to drive business growth.
  • Disseminate key information to stakeholders to inform decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to our plant's decision-making process.
  • Support our sector's management in implementing best practices and improving business processes.
  • Maintain an effective control structure to minimize business risks and prevent fraud.
  • Apply industry-leading administrative and accounting practices to drive business success.
  • Supervise and mentor financial analysts to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managerial accounting, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects.
  • Leadership and expertise in promoting buy-in to proposed solutions.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with a high level of proficiency in Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP software.
