Critical Care Navigator

Overview:
The Critical Care Coordinator is a key member of our multidisciplinary team, responsible for coordinating care with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective treatment of critically ill patients.
- Assist with triage and coordination of patients in the Emergency Department and on Medical, Surgical, or Cardiac floors.
- Provide critical care expertise and collaboration with intensivists to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Coordinate processes and enhance collaboration and quality clinical outcomes as measured by specified metrics.
- Act as a resource to nursing staff and physician staff in the Intensive Care Unit.
Qualifications:
- At least one year of previous experience in a critical care healthcare environment.
- Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
- Current RN license in our state.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
