We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at D&W Fresh Market. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing medication and other healthcare products to patients
- Prepare prescribed medication for patients by counting tablets, labeling bottles, and stocking products
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain patient profiles and insurance claims
- Operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of customer service-oriented pharmacy experience preferred
- State registration or certification required
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail
The physical demands of this role include standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The work environment is typical of a retail store with varied temperatures and occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
