Quality Assurance Inspector

At Captek International, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inspection (Gummy Production) professional to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the production of our gummy products.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect products to meet quality standards by manual/visual tray inspection, operating various inspection/packaging/printing equipment, and supporting other areas of production as needed.
- Follow cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and adhere to HACCP and Food Safety protocols.
- Document activities in batch records, logbooks, and controlled forms in a timely manner, adhering to Good Documenting Practices (GDP).
- Adhere to all safety policies and operate equipment in a safe manner, reporting any accidents, safety issues, or foul play to Supervisors immediately.
- Foster a team environment by supporting inspection team members, encapsulation, bottling, and other production areas as required by Supervisors.
- Communicate effectively with the team, Lead, and Supervisors, maintaining good housekeeping practices and ensuring a clean and organized work station and work area.
- Clean and sanitize all equipment, including trays, bins, utensils, and parts in direct contact with the product, and visually inspect the product on production trays and manually dump product onto clean bins.
- Clean, program, troubleshoot, and safely operate different inspection and printing equipment, manually re-spread product onto production trays as needed, and safely move tray stacks and bins of product to different workstations and staging areas.
- Ensure trays, bins, containers, and equipment are labeled accordingly, monitor drying processes, and perform hardness and conductivity tests as needed.
- Provide hands-on training to new employees and support continuous improvements by suggesting ideas and changes that will benefit daily processes and procedures.
- Previous experience working with production equipment is preferred.
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
