Interventional Radiology Nurse

As a Registered Nurse in the Interventional Radiology Suite, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients requiring invasive procedures from pre-op to post-op in a team environment. You will work closely with the healthcare team to create a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with procedures and surgeries as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current IL RN license
- BSN required
- Current AHA CPR and ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years critical care nursing experience
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts
- Ability to assist in evacuation of patients in the event of a fire or other disaster
- Ability to respond to patients in a timely manner and access all areas of the unit
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance
