About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at BCG X, working on a groundbreaking Generative AI project within the insurance industry.

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop and deliver innovative AI solutions, helping our client to become a leader in applying Generative AI to solve complex business challenges within the insurance space.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product owners and IT leads to translate high-level business requirements into functional, well-architected software solutions.
  • Develop new or enhance existing user interfaces using the client's proprietary Angular framework to create seamless, user-friendly experiences.
  • Write and maintain high-quality, reusable code that adheres to client design patterns and coding standards, with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
  • Create robust unit tests to ensure code quality, covering both expected and exception scenarios.
  • Build and integrate business services using MuleSoft, while adhering to client integration standards.
  • Work with Agile scrum teams to drive best practices, participate in code reviews, and continuously improve development processes.

Requirements:

  • Highly proficient in object-oriented programming languages such as Java or Python, with a strong background in developing software solutions for complex business problems.
  • Hands-on experience writing services that interact with relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Comfortable working with cloud-native technologies such as Terraform, AWS Lambda, and API Gateways to build scalable, cloud-based solutions.
  • Skilled in front-end development, with experience using Angular or similar frameworks to create user interfaces that provide exceptional user experiences.
  • Excel at working within Agile teams, driving collaboration, and applying strong problem-solving skills to tackle challenges effectively.
