Job Title: Delivery Driver

Empire Distributors Inc, a leading beverage distributor, is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious individual to drive our trucks and deliver products to customers. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive trucks safely and efficiently to deliver products to customers
  • Collect payment from customers and record transactions on customer invoices/receipts
  • Review customer orders and ensure proper delivery of products
  • Record sales or delivery information on delivery records
  • Issue or obtain customer signatures on invoices/receipts for pickup or delivery
  • Listen to and resolve service complaints
  • Place stock in appropriate places
  • Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers
  • Collect or pick up empty containers, kegs, or rejected or unsold merchandise
  • Return empty containers, kegs, and/or products to the warehouse for distribution back to suppliers or to inventory
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Must maintain an active applicable state driver's license
  • Motor Vehicle Record must meet and maintain company driving standards
  • Must meet requirements to receive and maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) Card at the time of physical examination
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain valid state Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) permit
Working Conditions:

The Delivery Driver will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with customers and colleagues. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse setting.
