Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian I to join our team at the City of Santa Monica, CA. As a Custodian I, you will be responsible for providing custodial services at various City facilities, including buildings, beach and park restrooms, the Civic Auditorium, and maintenance work areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine custodial work, including cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining facilities
  • Operate and maintain custodial equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers
  • Restock supplies and materials as needed
  • Assist with special events and projects as required
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations

Requirements:
