Biological Contamination Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Microbiologist to join our team at Actalent. As a Microbiologist, you will be responsible for performing bioburden testing on medical device products and supporting the Micro team in various laboratory tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform bioburden testing on medical device products
• Support the Micro team in media preparation, sterilization, and laboratory equipment maintenance
• Recognize and report malfunctions in laboratory equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and laboratory housekeeping
• Follow all procedures related to data documentation, laboratory safety, and good laboratory practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree
• Experience with USP and autoclave operations
• Experience with bioburden testing and laboratory equipment maintenance
