Job Details:
  • Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
  • Student Age Range: PreK through 12th grade
  • Caseload: Varied; specific details to be discussed during the interview
  • Location: Onsite at multiple schools within the district
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct evaluations to determine students' needs for occupational therapy services.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for ongoing support.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid NY state licensure or the ability to obtain one prior to the start date.
  • Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
