This role includes supervisory responsibilities, managing a fiscal support specialist and overseeing the institution's dining services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate fiscal transactions to ensure adherence to established accounting standards and institutional policies.
  • Provide training to staff on various accounting-related tasks.
  • Prepare and monitor grant budgets, forecast revenues and expenditures, and analyze financial data to determine funding needs.
  • Generate financial statements, bank reconciliations, operational reports, and other relevant financial documentation.
  • Maintain various financial records, including ledgers and journals.
  • Review and process invoices and expense vouchers for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Reconcile financial reports and data related to fiscal operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email, with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to effectively collaborate with students, faculty, and staff, demonstrating the ability to collect, organize, and analyze data.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in managing Federal grants.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of three years of experience in accounting or financial management.
