Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safe driver to transport adults with disabilities throughout the service area. As a Paratransit Driver, you will provide our clients with the freedom and independence of reliable, safe transportation. You will be responsible for safely transporting passengers in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner, assisting in the boarding of passengers using wheelchairs or other mobility aids, and properly securing wheelchairs and scooters.

Responsibilities
  • Safely transport passengers in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner throughout the service area
  • Assist in the boarding of passengers using wheelchairs or other mobility aids and properly secure wheelchairs and scooters
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact with passengers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for passengers and employees
Requirements
  • At least 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license for a minimum of 2 years
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Subject to DOT drug testing
