This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
About UsCraftweld Fabrication Co Inc is a leading manufacturer of fabricated and machined parts and assemblies. We serve a diverse range of industries including industrial, construction, agricultural, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, semiconductor, food, and consumer products.
Our team consists of experienced metal fabricators, welders, machinists, assemblers, and metal finishers supported by a knowledgeable management team. Our design and quality control staff enable us to focus on delivering high-quality products and services while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Interpreting engineered blueprints and hand sketches to set up and operate milling machines and lathes
- Completing each component from start to finish and inspecting components for dimensional accuracy
- Selecting proper tools to maximize productivity
- Using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges to ensure accuracy
- Reading and interpreting blueprints to understand project specifications
- Performing quality control checks on finished products
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of engineering drawings and the ability to interpret them accurately
- Experience working with CNC and manual machines
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
