Cardiac Catheterization Specialist

Northeast Georgia Health System is a leading healthcare provider in the region, committed to delivering exceptional patient care and improving community health.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Cardiac Catheterization Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct and safe patient care based on the nursing process, and for coordinating care for assigned patients on a shift to promote the achievement of clinical outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of work experience in Critical Care, Cath Lab, ER, or OR settings, with a strong foundation in cardiac and electrophysiology cases. National certification in a clinical specialty is preferred, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and safe patient care based on the nursing process
- Coordinate care for assigned patients on a shift to promote clinical outcomes
- Assist in Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology procedures while maintaining a sterile field
- Perform various procedures that require independent judgment and high skill proficiency
- Document daily operational functions on procedure room equipment
Requirements:
- Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia
- Minimum Experience: One year work experience in Critical Care, Cath Lab, ER, or OR settings
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferred Licensure or other certifications: National certification in clinical specialty as eligible
- Preferred Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Nursing Degree
