Key Responsibilities
- Act as a hands-on developer in the Android ecosystem.
- Design and develop innovative applications for the Android platform.
- Ensure the creation of secure and reliable applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
- Integrate with internal and external data sources and APIs.
- Conduct unit testing to ensure code robustness, including edge cases and usability.
- Address bugs and enhance application performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 6 years of experience in Android development.
- Demonstrated software development experience with a focus on Android.
- Experience publishing at least one original Android application on the Google Play Store.
- Familiarity with popular Android libraries (e.g., Dagger, Retrofit) and Application Compatibility libraries (e.g., Data Binding).
- Proficient in invoking REST APIs and parsing JSON data.
- Knowledge of Mobile Security, Encryption, and API Security practices.
- Comprehensive understanding of the mobile development lifecycle.
Basic Requirements
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from an accredited institution is required. Consideration will also be given to candidates with three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
