About the Role

This position involves operating an MRI scanner to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes at multiple centers within the market. The successful candidate will provide technical support to MRI services, ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with professional standards and with excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Imaging (75%)
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body with minimal supervision or repeats.
  • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination.
  • Prepare patients for MR procedures, explaining the procedure and providing patient support throughout the exam.
  • Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed.
  • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
  • Communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, patients, and family members as required.
  • Follow physicians' orders precisely and adhere to safety regulations to protect patients and colleagues.
  • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.
  • Imaging Support (20%)
  • Maintain equipment in good working order, cleaning and disinfecting after each use.
  • Assist with maintaining an updated MRI protocol manual and software upgrades.
  • Monitor medical supply inventory.
  • Support training of new associates, providing technical expertise.
