We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nephrologist to join our team at MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society. As a Pediatric Nephrologist, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care to children with kidney-related disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat children with kidney diseases, including those requiring dialysis or kidney transplantation
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pediatric nephrology
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
- Board certification in pediatric nephrology
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Maryland
- Experience working in a pediatric nephrology department
- Knowledge of kidney transplantation, kidney biopsy procedures, and dialysis modalities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
