We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including production, manufacturing, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all levels of staff activity and performance, ensuring production tasks, goals, and milestones are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
  • Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
  • Stay up to date with the latest production management best practices and concepts, incorporating continuous improvement methodologies such as 5S lean/six sigma.
  • Ensure safety regulations and company policies are adhered to, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
  • Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff to ascertain that all required materials are available for production.
  • Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions in a timely manner.
  • Be responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 7 years of proven experience in a plant management role.
  • A solid understanding of production management, flow manufacturing, and 5S lean/six sigma principles.
  • Previous knowledge/experience within metals manufacturing is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills, with an ability to motivate others.
  • Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources).
  • Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.
